What do do? Call News 2 - of course!

On the 2nd Friday of October, men showed up and broke up the black top of our driveway and much of the concrete sidewalk.  They left the blacktop scattered about and cleaned up absolutely nothing!  

It appears that after a month, neighbors have had enough!  Today we looked out the window and there was a news crew - what a surprise!   They took video of the drive and talked to neighbors coming in and out of the building.  We had to "surmise" the topic but were able to do that by watching the video guy take pics of the driveway and the lady in the pink coat talk to people.  I guess they have something like in America where the tv stations come in to help when it's needed. 

Keeping in mind that we're just guessing about what's going on - it was good to see what may be a glimmer of hope for getting the driveway repaired!  We'll let you know what happens.

On another note, we've been waiting 2 weeks to have someone come over and check our internet service.  Well, they showed up today, told us they could only look at tv service, charged us 15 greeven for a part and left.  It is SOOOOOOO FRUSTRATING!  But, I reminded Tim that the people here are much like we would have been in the 1950s had we been immediately thrown into the 21st century.  They are catching up, but it will take some time.
