Feelings in fabric!

It's taken 6 months to get this started .... and it may take 6 months (or more) to finish the quilt.  But, oh the thoughts and memories it provokes.  No doubt, I'll have a lot to write about as I work on this one.

It only seemed appropriate that this new quilt be red, blue and white (or cream).  With the move back to the states, I wanted to put my feelings into fabric.  Nothing like the good old USA!

These are the strips to start the new block.  Can you guess what it will be?
